On June 20, 2010 four persons were received by Profession of Faith at the 10:30 a.m. service.

Ordination of elders

On June 20, 2010 six persons were ordained and inducted as ruling elders. Holy Communion was celebrated and the 6 new elders served the elements.

Sandy Osborne Receives AMS Life Membership

At the AMS closing on June 1, 2010, Sandy Osborne received a life membership from the Atlantic Mission Society in recognition of her dedicated service to the Society. It was presented to her by the minister, P.A. McDonald and Vice-President of the St. Andrew’s Auxiliary, Norma Fallows

Youth Group

On Saturday, May 1, the Youth Group prepared a breakfast in support of a project: a water/clean sanitation project in Malawi. The breakfast was sponsored by the Outreach Committee and was well attended. Click on the pictures tab to view more pictures.

A vivid dramatization of the last week in the life of Jesus was presented at the 10:30 service on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2010. The drama included many players, a narrator and music.Click here to see the cast of characters.

30 years as Church School Superintendent

Sadie Hurst was honoured at the Annual Meeting on February 7 for serving 30 years as Church School Superintendent. Ian Murray presented her with a wooden file box, crafted by John Stone, along with engraving, that will be used by the Church School for Christmas Concert resources. Congratulations!
